This page explains what personal data Ride Transylvania collects when you use this site, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it.
What data we collect
Account data: name, email, phone, rider profile (bike brand/model, riding experience, dietary requirements, emergency contact). Booking data: the tour(s) you book, participant names, room preference, roommate requests, and any activity selections. Payment data: amounts, payment method and status — card details themselves are handled directly by Stripe and never stored on our servers.
Why we process it
To create and manage your account and bookings (performance of a contract), to process payments and prevent fraud, to send booking confirmations, payment receipts and — only if you opt in — occasional marketing emails, and to meet accounting and tax record-keeping obligations.
Who we share it with
The accommodation and activity partners for the tour you book (only what they need to host or run the activity, e.g. your name and dietary requirements if you've consented to share them), our payment processor Stripe, and our email provider Resend. We don't sell your data to anyone.
How long we keep it
Financial records (bookings and payments) are kept for as long as required by accounting and tax law, even after your account is anonymized. Your directly identifying profile data (name, email, phone, dietary text, emergency contact) is kept while your account is active, and is automatically anonymized after a sustained period of inactivity, or immediately if you request deletion from your account page.
Your rights
You can access and download a copy of your data at any time from your account page ("Export my data"). You can also request anonymization of your account ("Delete my account") — this scrubs your identifying fields while keeping the underlying financial records we're legally required to retain. You can withdraw marketing consent at any time. To exercise any other right (correction, objection), contact us using the details below.

This site uses Vercel Web Analytics, a cookieless, privacy-preserving analytics tool that doesn't use tracking cookies or collect personally identifiable information.
